WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 16, 2013)—Jim Anderson, Ph.D., associate dean for research in the College of Public Health, has been named to the Advisory Committee on Human Research Protection through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The committee is directed by HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.

The committee’s role is to advise, consult with and make recommendations to Secretary Sebelius as to the responsible conduct of research involving human subjects.
